We're not at all alike. I'm all boobs, belly and a bum that only seems to get any shape when I am riding a good few kilos above where I want to be, whereas Sarah is the most luscious of pears. A friend once joked that, spooning, we must be a perfect square, a fleshy jigsaw puzzle.
"Horizontal stripes are fattening, you know?"
"Good thing I'm not the one wearing them then. You're just grumbling for form's sake."
True enough, but I resisted being so easily read.
"You don't know that!"
She cupped my mons.
"Oh but I do, baby."
